Robin M. Green has continuously practiced law for over thirty-five years. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Robin began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas. He has experience in a variety of complex lawsuits representing both plaintiffs and defendants and individuals and business entities. He began his practice in Amarillo where he practiced for sixteen years before joining the firm of McWhorter Cobb & Johnson in Lubbock. In the fall of 1991, he left that firm to form his own law firm in which he practiced before joining Hall & Green. Robin has written Divorce: When It's the Only Answer, a book designed for those faced with divorce. A newly revised edition of this book was published in 2005. More information on this book can be found here. Robin's experience encompasses broad areas of law practice. He has handled civil lawsuits in all of the categories listed on the Litigation / Civil Trial page of this website. He has litigated divorce cases involving both child custody and disputes over property. As an Assistant District Attorney, and later as a criminal defense lawyer, he tried criminal trials. He has represented the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in its banking enforcement litigation. For several years, he was an active Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee and has litigated extensively in Bankruptcy Courts on behalf of trustees, creditor committees, creditors, and debtors. He has argued cases before state and federal appellate courts. He has handled arbitration cases. Robin has handled lawsuits in most of the major metropolitan areas in Texas, including the counties of Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Harris, Bexar, El Paso, Lubbock, Potter, Randall, Tom Green, Ector, and Nueces, as well as many rural counties in Texas.
